NARB Allows Appeal of NAD Decision in Transfair, Avon Cases

The National Advertising Review Board has agreed to allow Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps to appeal a recent decision of the National Advertising Division (NAD) in a case related to fair-trade certifications. NARB, the appellate unit of the advertising industry’s system of self-regulation, is an advertising industry peer group from which ad-hoc panels are selected to adjudicate NAD cases that are not resolved at the NAD level.
